Research work is carried out in the following scientific areas:

1  Modeling of educational and applied processes and systems on the basis of microcontrollers and PLDs.

2  Study of socket interaction for the realization of network performance, cross-platform interaction and distributed computing systems.

3  Software development on the basis of modern computer-information technologies.

International Cooperation and Grant Activities

The department cooperates with the Ostwestfalen - Lippe University of Applied Sciences (Germany) and a firm 'dSpace' (Paderborn, Germany).

The department maintains productive partnership relations with Lublin University of Technology and Poznan University of Technology (Poland).

Within the framework of international partnership and cooperation, the department is looking for partners and a leader for the project KA-2 Erasmus+ which aims at integrating the Bachelor's educational level with the European educational space. For this purpose, there have been established the contacts with the international relations departments of universities in Opole and Poznan (Poland), of Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, as well as of the Technical University of Liberec (the Check Republic).
