Since September 2005 till nowadays the Faculty is headed by Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor  O. Zabolotnyi. There is a step-by-step training of specialists  at the Faculty. The educational process provides a solid fundamental, scientific, professional and applied training for students of full-time and correspondence forms  of education at the educational and qualification levels: Bachelor’s Degree (4 years), Master's Degree (1,5 years).

Today, the Faculty includes the  training and production centre Delcam TF, and six departments: 1) Applied mechanics; 2) Automation and computer-integrated technologies; 3) Materials science; 4) Instrumentation engineering 5) Electronics and telecommunications 6) Physical education. These departments prepare specialists in 7 specialities.

The Department of education and production "Industry", created at the University, successfully works at the faculty, which enables to carry out continuous training of specialists according to the scheme "school - technical school - university" for a shorter term of studying. From all directions of the Faculty there is a number of students to study for a shorter term for full-time and part-time studying.
