   "Cross-border cooperation between Poland and Ukraine.Opportunities and problems"

The International Starting Conference "Transborder cooperation between Poland and Ukraine". Opportunities and problems"   was  held  on December 4th  in the city  Tomaszow Lubelski  within the framework of a joint project with Lublin Catholic John Paul II University  "Cooperation  of  Universities to support  the  development of thesecurity and crisis management of  Lublin and Lutsk transboundary regions".

During the conference cultural, economic and geopolitical issues were discussed. In particular, the first panel outlined historical, cultural and theological issues on the analysis of selected trends in historical policy and the development of Polish-Ukrainian border cooperation. Yasina Lukash,  Ezhy Nikolaev, Olexandr Kuchabski  were  the  main speakers at the conference.

The second panel was presented by Ukrainian participants: Pavel Sheremeta, Natalia Vavdiyuk and Olga Sazonets as well as Polish expert Tadeush Ivanski. The speakers in their reports highlighted the issues of global economic security and  the  launch  of  Ukrainian small and medium businesses on the Polish market.

During the third panel  Ryshard Sudul and Leshek Maksymovich discussed opportunities for cooperation with the Polish neighbors and changes in the border infrastructure of the partner countries.
