Overall objective is to improve the living conditions of the local population by enhancing the competitiveness of youth in the labor markets of Ukraine and Belarus.

Specific objective is to ground a system of vocational and career guidance for students and graduates of partner universities. It will ensure the development of professional and career self-identification of graduates and the introduction of competences to employers in the labor markets of Ukraine and Belarus.

Target group (s): schoolchildren and university entrants; students and university graduates; professionals in the field of vocational and career guidance.

The project duration: 14 months

The project budget: €192 744.33.

The project starts in January 2018.

The main activities of the project:

1. Infrastructure activities

- the establishment of career guidance centers properly equipped with modern software in each partner university (creation of a technological basis for vocational guidance);

- educational and methodical activities:

- workshops, training and certification of consultants by conducting seminars, conferences and publication of manuals and recommendations, exchange of experience and best practices;

2. Advisory activities

- vocational and career guidance of schoolchildren and university graduates in the established Centers by certified consultants;

- the establishment of databases with information about students, jobseekers, access to these databases by the prospective employers and recruiters;

3. Information activities

- project visibility and EU support for entrants, students, graduates, employers and recruiters, local education authorities and labor market operators;

- dissemination of information on best practices in Ukraine and Belarus, that is, seminars and conferences, publications in mass media and on the Internet.

Informational platform for small and medium-sized business development in the cross-border region

Overall objective: improving informational infrastructure of the cooperation of small and medium-sized business with the objective of development of cross-border trade and regional economies.

Specific objectives:

- A research specific characteristics of business organization, customs regulations, accounting and taxation in Ukraine and the Republic of Belarus to increase awareness of small and medium-sized business in the cross-border region.

- Creating informational base for the representatives of small and medium-sized business to intensify international contacts in the cross-border trade.

- Creating a virtual consulting centre “Informational platform for small and medium-sized business development in the cross-border region” based on partner higher educational establishments with the purpose to develop cross-border cooperation and incentive the creation of new business entities – participants of cross-border trade

Target group(s): Small and medium-sized business representatives, including university graduates interested in starting up their own business (about 500); representatives of non-governmental organizations and governmental agencies will participate in project events (50).

Final beneficiaries: Lutsk national technical university, Brest state technical university; partner higher educational establishment students (about 10000); small and medium-sized business representatives from cross-border regions (about 15000), local governmental agencies and NGO in Ukraine and the Republic of Belarus.

The project budget: €185 388,00.

The project starts in spring 2018.

Estimated results:

1. The informational infrastructure of small and medium-sized business in the cross-border region has been studied, key informational needs of small and medium-sized business have been identified.

2. Join practical guides on organization of small and medium-sized business, customs regulations, accounting and taxation in Ukraine and the Republic of Belarus have been developed and disseminated, covering the key informational needs of small and medium-sized business.

3. Virtual consulting centre has been created, providing education and consulting to representatives of small and medium-sized business.

Main activities:

1. Project management, coordination and communication. Project promotion. Creating a website. Organization and holding of a business forum, exchange visits. Preparation and generation of expert report on informational infrastructure of small and medium-sized business in the cross-border region.

2. Development, publication and uploading to the website join practical guides on organization of small and medium-sized business, customs regulations, accounting and taxation in Ukraine and the Republic of Belarus.

3. Creation of a virtual consulting centre. Organization and holding of business trainings, final International practical conferences, planting 'The Lane of Friendship'.
